HTC HD mini heads for the FCC

Whenever a device makes an appearance on the FCC, it is with anticipation that said device will soon hit the market as well, although that is not the case always. The HTC HD mini does seem set for a North America release with its 3G network support, where it will come with the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 operating system, a 3.2″ display and a 600MHz processor. The HD mini is touted to be the budget version of the HD2, but it won’t skimp on multi-touch input and comes with HTC’s own Sense UI as well.

Hot on the heels of the Palm Pixi Plus announcement, Palm has again taken center stage at CES to give us wind of the Palm Pre Plus.

There isn’t much new here, 16GB of internal storage, no more navigation button and Verizon branding. Oh, the back cover also supports TouchStone charging out of the box, if you’re into that kind of thing.

There was no mention of a price but we do know that it’s dropping on January 25th so Verizon users you will soon be able to get your hands on some webOS goodness.
