Sony ICF-CD3iP iPhone dock

Here is something that will knock the pants off of that boring little dock Apple bundled with your iPhone.

Sony’s new ICF-CD3iP iPhone dock not only charges your iPhone, or iPod, but the list of features is a pretty extensive one. This device also includes a built in block along with a CD player and AM/FM radio.

That’s not it though, if you’re having trouble getting out of bed and just so happen to pick one of these up you can choose from the convential buzzer to wake you up OR the CD player, radio or connected iPod. Pretty cool.

This thing is expected to sell for $100 and go on sale in October in USA.

Today it’s exactly a month from the official iPhone 3G launch. If in the first three days Apple sold 1 million iPhones, people are estimating that 2 more million handsets were sold since the first weekend. So we are looking at 3 million handsets sold in one month. And they are the same phone. How many cell phone makers can say they can do that?

Sit tight iPhone haters. Before pointing fingers at the whole blogosphere and the Internet making this possible, check first with Apple’s marketing department. I guess they’re the ones to blame.

Fortune and analyst Michael Cote, a former T-Mobile executive, are estimating three million iPhone 3G sales so far. Other analysts are expecting sales to stop around four millions by the end of the quarter.

But let’s see what happens after August 22nd when 20 more countries will sell the iPhone 3G. I know I know, it will be another success hit because of bloggers like me…

Bluetooth Bracelet

The bracelet in the picture is a smart gadget that will vibrate when your phone is ringing. How is that possible? Really simple actually. There’s some Bluetooth involved in the whole process and a small motor inside. When is that useful? At any time you don’t want your cell phone ringtone to be heard and you want to answer all incoming calls.

That’s quite a gadget for me. No matter what happens around me I keep any cell phone on vibration alert. You might imagine how I end up missing some phone calls from time to time. With this bracelet I surely wouldn’t. The whole thing costs $36.99. Too much? Mind you that’s all this bracelet does. Vibrate.

Well it couldn’t be more clear than that. The second generation iPhone is coming for sure in June. Foxconn are assembling according to the Chinese Commercial Times. They are expected to produce 3 million 3G iPhones in June only and it’s estimated they will manufacture 24 million by the end of this generation’s life cycle. Despite all that, there’s no official announcement. Everyone is waiting for Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference 2008 (WWDC 2008) in June and everyone is counting on this 3G iPhone to be finally produced. For now Foxconn are the only manufacturers of the first generation iPhone.

Rumor ! Blackberry 9100 ! an iPhone Killer?

BlackBerry_AK.pngI really hate the term “iPhone Killer.” It’s so overused, and just about the term give for every other touchphone on the market similar to the specs of the iPhone. But as much as I dislike it, phone manufacturers know that to be able to eclipse the popularity of the Jesus phone and to be able to bring their brand and models to the forefront of the smartphone market, they truly need to come up with an “iPhone Killer.” As such, Research in Motion is rumored to be developing its own revolutionary handset to compete with the upcoming iPhone 2nd gen with 3G connection. IntoMobile speculates that the branded BlackBerry AK (Apple Killer) might just be the BlackBerry 9100. However, we could only know for sure once these information substantiate. If RIM indeed comes up with an iPhone Killer, will you be genuinely interested in it?
