Thanks to the tireless folks over BGR, we now have for you what is reportedly the first pictures of the BlackBerry 9670 flip phone. As you can see from its design, RIM went the flip route but still maintained the overall fundamental features of your run of the mill BlackBerry. It’s got the full QWERTY keyboard, optical finger pad, BlackBerry OS 6.0, 480 x 360 display, WiFi, 5 megapixel camera, and a microSD slot. What sets it apart from other BlackBerry devices is the large outer display.

There’s no telling when or where we will see this device drop first but since its CDMA enabled, the options are narrowed down to Sprint and Verizon. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
