- Face detection with auto redeye removal
- Starts up in less than one second
- Records video at 1280 x 720 (30 fps) with sound
- 40MB onboard memory + SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot
- 300 shots per charge using proprietary li-ion battery

You may have noticed that I mentioned SDXC cards, and Panasonic announced a pair of those, as well. These super fast (Class 10), high capacity cards come in 48 and 64 gigabyte sizes, and they’re priced at $449 and $599, respectively (ouch). They’ll start shipping next month.
