The Omnia HD is probably one of the best phones available at the MWC and one of the best Samsung handsets released so far. We’ve heard the rumors and now it’s time we checked out the official specs.

The Omnia HD is the first full-touch Symbian phone made by Samsung and it’s the first phone capable of recording 720p HD video. It’s also has the biggest AMOLED screen in the mobile business so far, which means you should definitely give it a try if you get your hands on it.

And here’s the features list you were waiting for:

  • a 3.7 inch AMOLED 16:9 touchscreen
  • dual stereo speakers
  • support for SD and HD videos
  • 8 megapixel camera
  • up to one hour of 720p video recording
  • HSUPA 5.76Mbps and HSDPA 7.2Mbps support
  • GPS with voice guidance
  • 8GB/16GB internal memory
  • up to 32GB memory upgrade via microSD
  • 3D interface
  • Samsung Mobile Widget support
  • Symbian OS

Good information. Currently I just got a Samsung Omnia SCH-i910 within the mail from ebay, and it currently looks that it’s at stock settings to the Verizon Network. I plan to utilize this mobile phone on Metro PCS. I also desire to place Windows Mobile 6.five on right here, but I’m not sure which order I should do this in. Ought to I carry it to Metro PCS as is and have it activated, after which it afterwards flash the ROM with 6.5? Or should I modify the ROM very first and then consider it to Metro PCS? I’ve been browsing all around and I’m unable to get the response to this.
