The FinePix S2000HD super zoom camera. The thing that jumped out at me with this one is that it doesn’t support xD cards! Is this a sign of things to come from Fuji?

• 10.0 effective Megapixel CCD
• F3.5-5.4, 15X optical zoom lens, equivalent to 27.6 - 414 mm
• CCD-shift image stabilization
• 2.7″ LCD display with 230,000 pixels, plus an electronic viewfinder (that uses FLCD technology, for improved quality)
• Full manual controls
• Face Detection with auto redeye removal (presumably an older version than on the F60fd)
• Can record HD video at 1280 x 720 (30 fps) for up to 15 minutes; optical zoom is useable, image stabilization is not
• 55MB onboard memory + SD/SDHC card slot
• HD video output — the cable and a remote control seem to be optional
• Uses four AA batteries; 400 shots per charge with NiMH rechargeables
• Ships in September for $299
