The Nikon Coolpix P6000 is a camera which knows GPS and geotagging besides taking photos. And it will surely shoot some decent photos at 13.5 megapixels wouldn’t you say?

Pictures will be embedded with altitude, longitude and latitude which will let you geotag pictures with a third party program. There’s also a LAN port which will let you quickly transfer photos to myPicturetown or your computer.

Here are some of Nikon’s Coolpix P6000 features:

  • 4X wide angle lens
  • 2.7-inch LCD
  • Optical viewfinder
  • Optical image stabilization
  • ISO 64-6400 (Auto ISO up to 1600)
  • Pop-up flash
  • Nikon’s Best Shot Selector
  • SD/SDHC support

The camera will cost you just $499 when it arrives, but it’s certainly worth it.

Motorola Sparrow in concept

Motorola, world’s leading cell phone manufacturer, has come up with a new concept of Motorola Sparrow. A concept conceived to provide retail stores with a mobile point of sale device, Motorola Sparrow is capable of solving increased service demands from a variety of consumers while decentralizing the check out point. Using this new Motorola Sparrow, consumers can get out faster by paying faster.

The Motorola Sparrow is an all-in-one device that combines a scanner, RFID, point of sale (POS) system, communication and credit card reading capabilities. Equipped with touch sensitive areas, the front and back of the Motorola Sparrow makes it easy to navigate and use.

The MPOS (mobile point of sale) system is not available in many devices and fortunately the Motorola Sparrow has got it for making shopping easy for the consumers. This new concept in eye-catching colors has been thoughtfully designed by Rinat Aruh. I am waiting to see it in stores soon.

HP Touchscreen Laptops

Now let me see where on Earth did I hear such a terrific idea? I mean, making a notebook similar to the iPhone but slightly bigger seems quite an innovating concept that someone is rumored to already have. Where on Apple did I hear it then?

HP appears to be in good shape to compete against a rumored Apple product, the MacBook touch. And I actually trust they will do a fine job. After launching their touch desktop they should be able to get a hit touch laptop.

The new system is going to be launch in about 18 months, which is quite a wait. HP will join Dell which already has a tablet PC, the Latitude XT with multitouch support. Hopefully more multitouch notebooks are going to be developed in the near future. We’d certainly love getting our hands on any of these models.
