Olympus Imaging Corporation is now quite pleased to declare that its ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-60mm f2.8-4.0 SWD lens has won the Technical Image Press Association award for “Best Expert Lens 2008”.

The Award winner ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-60mm f2.8-4.0 SWD lens belongs to the standard zoom lens category. It is based on the four thirds system standard. It is infused with SWD autofocusing system. Its zoom array counterpart ranges fromto 24 to 120mm on a 35mm camera lens.

The TIPA jury noted that: “With its fast aperture of f2.8-4.0, it’s suitable for use in all lighting conditions”. The lens’ rugged dust and splashproof build along with the inclusion of SWD technology - enabling the world’s fastest autofocusing speeds* - were further winning arguments cited by TIPA in choosing to bestow it with the “Best Expert Lens 2008″ award.

A Taiwanese site showed everyone what the new MacBook will look like and that started a whole buzz around the Internet about Apple’s future laptop.

From what we see in the picture, the MacBook would have a metal case which confirms some of the past rumors we’ve had about a MacBook coming in an aluminum case. As always there’s no word from Apple regarding this leak so it might simply be another photoshopped image we’ve received here.

Boy this must be the rumors of all rumors I’ve heard all year. People say that an iPhone nano is being conceived by Apple and it’s planned to be released by Christmas. The people that are saying it are Daily Mail writers. According to them a $300 pay-as-you-go iPhone nano will be available for O2 customers by Christmas.

Why would I, as a simple consumer, choose to buy a smaller iPhone? Sure a nano version would definitely be so cool, but I would be losing a large part of that touchscreen. That means watching videos and web browsing are going to really suck on a nano iPhone. Oh and is it going to be a 3G iPhone nano?

I wonder where this rumor will lead… There are almost 5 months to Christmas and yes Ladies … be ready !!!!

The FinePix S20000HD seems to be the successor of the tS1000FD from Fujifilm. What’s new? Well there’s a lens upgrade from 12X to 15X. High definition video recording is also available if you happen to be a home video director.

The camera seems to be made for fast action like we see in various sports. If you are a sports photographer you’ll be able to take 5 megapixels photos at 6.8 frames per second while 3 megapixlels picture can be taken at 13.5 frames per second.

The S20000HD will retail for about $293 but we don’t know when it’s actually going to be available.
