The day we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived. Just a little two hours ago, Steve Jobs started his keynote. This was a sold out event with over 5k people present and millions of people worldwide watching almost live pictures and video coverage.

Finally, after a year, there’s a phone that beats the iPhone. We will call it the 3G iPhone.Some of the rumors about the 3G iPhone came through and some didn’t. Before actually talking about the iPhone 2, I am going to let you enjoy some of the live pictures, courtesy of Engadget.

Samsung has recently announced the launch of OMNIA cell phone model number SGH-i900. It sports a 5 MP Camera along with GPS, FEMTOMETER radio and Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi. The 16G internal memory can store 4000 MP3 files and 100 minutes of movie. You can access Word, Excel and PPT etc. with the latest phone. Latest version of Opera (9.5) offers enhanced browsing. SAMSUNG OMNIA Phone is expected to reach the market in the second half of 2008.

After the BlackBerry Bold, the Thunder is coming. We all knew that for a while now but we lacked more specific details about RIM’s first touch screen (only) BlackBerry.

From what we can see, despite the fact it will lose the physical QWERTY keyboard in favor of the larger screen, the Thunder won’t lose any other of the features that made BlackBerries famous around the world.

Let’s see when, what and who now! When is it going to be released, what will it cost and who else, besides Verizon Wireless, is going to sell it?
