3K Computers has launched the Longitude 400 Mini Notebook Ultra Mobile PC. This ultra light weight PC weighs less than 2lbs. It comprises a 7-inch LCD TFT Display and a normal sized keyboard. The Longitude 400 Mini Notebook is aimed at students, mobile professionals, and people who do online browsing on the go.

It’s only been a few days since the launch of the Asus Eee PC 900 in some parts of the world, and yet something new is already in the works. Apparently, during the launch of the Asus Eee PC 900 in Taipei, it was announced that a ten-inch Eee PC would be available sometime later this year. Thankfully, the ten-inch version seems to be the largest Eee PC could get. Otherwise, it would be just another generic low-cost laptop PC, and the company will end up ruining the branding.

In another news, a lot of people were disappointed over the fact that the first wave of the Asus Eee PC 900 products did not contain the new Intel Atom processor. However, it was revealed that a version equipped with the Intel Atom inside would be available come June. A lightning-fast tiny machine that won’t cost me an arm and a leg? I like.
