Acer continues showing its love for everything Ferrari. After their line up of Ferrari inspired notebooks, the company looks like is all set to release a Ferrari PDA. No details are available expect this leaked image of the Ferrari 1000. The device is said to be a Windows Mobile Device and may just have a touch screen.

Porsche has also entered into the mobile market by with its French partner Sagem unveiling its new range of mobile phones P9521 in the market. This is a stylish and sleek designed flip phone featuring a finger print sensor. P9521 is also teamed up with a 3.2Mega pixel camera and swivel screen and GSM and EDGE connectivity. In addition to all this it is also supported by a multimedia player. This sizzling handset will be available to the users this autumn. Though we can say anything about its future in the market but one can owe this handset at a price of 1,200 Euro or USD1600.

Gigabyte Gsmart T600 - First-Ever Mobile Television Handset With Smartcard Profile Protection

The world’s first mobile TV handset with Smartcard profile, the Gigabyte GSmart t600, was demonstrated at Computex Taipei 2007. The GSmart t600 is the first multi-standard TV/PDA phone with integrated support for DVB-T, DVB-H and DMB.

Featuring a 2.6″ touch-panel display, the t600 offers quad-band GSM connectivity allowing you to operate it in five continents. The 260k-color VGA screen is something not seen before on PDA phones. Gigabyte claims a talk time of up to 3 hours, and stand-by of 150 hours.

With 256MB ROM and 64MB RAM, the GSmart t600 offers a microSD memory card slot for expansion. At the heart of the t600 is a Marvell PXA270 520MHz processor. Other goodies on the device include TV-OUT, Bluetooth 2.0, mini USB connector and WLAN 802.11b/g. It runs Windows Mobile 6.

Toshiba announces their ultraportable notebook Portégé R500 Series. Further advancing the company as a world leader in mobile innovation, the new Portégé is the world’s thinnest notebook series with an integrated optical disk drive. Not only the thinnest, it also provides the longest battery life of a 12.1″ widescreen notebook. With the addition of the integrated 7mm DVD-supermulti drive the system measures only .77″ thin and weighs only 2.4lbs, making the Portégé R500 Series Toshiba’s ultimate ultraportable mobile computing solution.

The 12.1″ display incorporates an indoor/outdoor transflective LED backlight display to provide an image which is rich in color with superb quality. To achieve its compact size, the notebook uses High Density Mounting Technology to provide a miniature motherboard with dual-sided component mounting to acheive reduce size and enhance overall functionality. Also incorporated into the R500 series is EasyGuard technology which provides HDD protection and a spill resistant keyboard.

Recommended configuration for the Portégé R500-S5001X is priced at $1,999. Specs include preloaded Windows XP Professional, 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor U76007, 1024MB SDRAM memory, 120GB HDD, 7mm 8x DVD-SuperMulti drive, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator, Intel Wireless WiFi 802.11a/g/n, and Bluetooth 2.0.

Plans to further reduce weight of the Portégé R500 series to 1.72lbs are expected in the third quarter of 2007. To acheive the reduced wieght the R500 series will adopt a 64GB solid state drive, which will additionally improve system response, reliability, and durability.
